ADVANCED TEFL TESOL
This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes of an English as a Second Language or English as a Foreign Language teacher in accordance with international English Language Teaching standards. It covers Core competencies such as: Identify basic theories behind teaching and learning languages, Demonstrate effective language teaching techniques and strategies, Present knowledge on English grammar and phonology, Use standard methods of teaching language skills and systems, Plan language lessons for various age groups and levels, Facilitate observed teaching practices for various age groups and levels, Reflect critically on learning experiences and relate to educational context, Present compiled teaching materials and resources. This course is intended for both Filipinos and Foreign Nationals, who are of legal age and, with some college or bachelor’s degree of any specialization. This training is delivered 100% with a trainer.
Certification:
150 Hour Advanced / 500 Hour Master TEFL TESOL Certificate
Entry Requirements:
Fluent in both Oral and Written English Language as evidenced by an English Proficiency Test with a score of C1 or 7.0 in IELTS Speaking and 6.5 in IELTS Writing
At least 18 years old upon completion of the program.
Some college or College degree with no preference of any major or course.
General Evaluation:
HIGHLY COMPETENT - the trainee garners at least 85% total rating or higher
COMPETENT – the trainee garners at least 70% total rating but lower than 85%
NOT COMPETENT -the trainee receives 69% or below in total rating
Moderation and Course Audit:
The course is externally moderated and audited by educators and industry experts.
The course provider is randomly moderated every quarter and audited bi-yearly with full reports published through the website.
Accreditation:
Institutional accreditation by the American Council of Training and
Development New Jersey, NJ USA (ACTD).
